History of Biblical Dispensationalism & GREAT MUSIC
Found a very informative message about Dispensationalism, which, to me, is the sane and intelligent person’s interpretation of the Bible. The video is embedded below. I love messages from Sugar Land Bible Church in Sugar Land, Texas. This church has some great teachers! Love to hear Dr. Andy Woods and his fellow minister Dr. Jim McGowan. My husband Brent Spiner attends Dallas Theological Seminary and my favorite teachers are often graduates of this school or associated with Dallas Theological Seminary.
My Christian views and tastes are very eclectic and I just personally think out all I believe and come to my own conclusions after weighing the evidence from various sources. For this reason, my views do not totally align with any particular Christian group, with the exception of Church of Gail where my husband Brent Spiner is the pastor. So, though I love Chris Tomlin’s song “The Wonderful Cross”, it does not mean I love all his songs, or that I necessarily agree with all he believes. In fact, many of his views are very different from Dr. Andy Woods. I feel that as a musician Chris is very talented and good. But when it comes to theology and Bible teaching, I love Andy Woods, especially in regards to Bible prophecy. As Christians we are gifted in different areas and I believe in appreciating the entire body of Christ, encouraging all believers to use the unique gifts God has given them. Because we are all different, we will evolve as believers in different ways (and may end up on different paths), but as long as we are living our Christian lives out in love, we should encourage and embrace our differences as a way to make the world a more beautiful and interesting place.
